any weapon that rogues can wear is good. i prefer swords because the next two classes (samurai and paladin) are able to use them as well.

it depends on how what your equipment looks like and whatnot, but if you want to go pure strength, go for it. you just wont get as many crits since you have lower dex, but you will have a higher base damage

If you plan to solo you'll want a minimum of 75 dex imo. Your stats really depend on the path you're going to take to MQ.

Catas - All str will probably get you there just fine.
Arena - You'll want a balance of Str/Dex to give you those crits while given you protection from the enemies.

ive found that rogues with even 90 dex do quite well in catas
after u make 90 with yer MQ gear on
dump the rest in str
