Weapons - EE clubs (more EE = more damage)
Armors - Str/Dex Medium or Heavy armors.
Charms - Str/Dex

You'll want to shoot for 75-100 Dex at level 55 w/ gear and stat the rest Str. So if you buy all dex gear, which is generally cheaper than str gear, make sure to stat all Str

also armors with ee can make it a lot easier to solo and are also often apreciated in catas.
priority: plate > chain > scale

the priorities are set this way because u are not able to afford high ee values. with high ee values, scales would be the armors of choice.

i would second the choice to use ee plates.

in addition, you probably want to go for a dex charm and stat strength since dex is significantly cheaper than strength
