First 10 stat points into vita. Rest into int.

I'd melee up until 10 or 15, so go for EE daggers/staffs and probably a max life robe. Maybe a heal charm as well.
Once you start casting get attack charms with EE and weapons/robes with intelligence. Upgrade gear every 5 - 10 levels.

Unfortunately, it's not cheap by any means :(


The healer route is much cheaper, just go for all heal mastery gear and EE heal charms. Still will get costly though, especially at higher levels

I will have to very respectfully disagree a tad bit on this.

I think the first 10 into life is overkill on sc, I dont play hc by the way. I think the first 10 into intel is only warranted if you never intend on welling. I have done this before and found welling to be a disaster. 5 into life at level 1 makes about 400+ life difference at level 64. The extra life really comes in handy when welling.

agreed. I actually went 7 vit on my SC mages.
