Yes, I have never really built I Mage before, so I have no idea what to put into Stats. I read in Easy Mage Guide ( http://forums.d2jsp.org/topic.php?t=17895472&f=272 ) , that it is a good idea to put the first ten stats into Vitality, so at higher levels I have more life. That guide is also for version 1.1 or something. I cant seem to find a viable guide for the new version.
I was thinking about doing for me, since I do not have very much good gear yet of doing levels 1-5 All Vitality, then rest into Intelligence. How well would that work for just climbing the ladder? Im not really looking to well items yet since, Im not very good yet. I just to get levels as fast I can, so I can get some guild points for my new guild. Any help would be great.

The most vitality I'd ever do on a mage on SC would be 30 (just your 10 starting points). I definitely wouldn't recommend adding any stat points to vitality after level 1.

i died 26 times w/o no vita on my mage this season, i forgot to add vita and so i got crited, 23 of those deaths are from crits in wells
