Two questions.

1) I beat MQ with a basic character and unlocked Samurai. Do I need to beat MQ as Samurai to unlock Paladin or will Paladin unlock if I beat MQ again with a basic character?

2) Can someone explain how you get extra starting stat points? When I first started LS, my character had 10 stat points to distribute. After I beat MQ, I was given 11 stat points to distribute... but when I play as Samurai I get 12 stat points to start. So I would think 1 comes from beating MQ and 1 comes from Samurai class, but my roommate who has beat MQ twice has 13 stat points to distribute no matter which class he plays with. Don't understand. Please help.

1. You have to pass the master quest on the Samurai to unlock Paladin, and on Paladin to unlock Monk and so on and so forth.

2. The more time you fail your master quests, the more starting stat points you have. On feeder, if you fail once, you get one more start stat point. On Samurai, you have to fail twice to get one stat point, and you have to fail three times to get a stat point on Paladin etc.

Now I understand why I got a 2nd extra stat point... I failed my third MQ, and because I had unlocked Samurai that third fail opened another stat point.
