Hello,

I'm a new player and like to go with an axe fighter.

I use axes with ee, plates with ee (cause str is too expensive), str charms (+20/lvl5 +35 at higher lvl)

At first i started with dex up to 120 and strength only through equipment.
After 1st mq I tried to stat dex up to 90 and put the rest in strength points. Better, but still not perfect I guess.

Yesterday I read in a guide, that due to some patch it would be better to skill only up to 60 dex when using an axe and then put the rest in strength.
Is that still correct with the latest patch?

Or is there any way to do better? Any suggestions?

I'd like to go to cata and sometimes solo when there are no players out there, but no top speed needed there.

I have absolutely no problems to move up to lvl ~30 very fast with my equip and stats, but then it gets hard.

Pls notice that I dont like to use swords or clubs and I dont like to use a dex charm, because I think str charm is better - if theres one perfect value for dex then I will be limited to that special dex charm unlike with strength, where you can say the more the better so I always can get a better charm.

i would play your fighter like this

axe weapon - ee
heavy armor - ee
any charm - dex

get as much as possible on each
then just boost str
fighters already start with 40 dex and it seems you got fairly ok gear
i already see that +36 dex charm your wearing

with that your in the 75~ dex range and thats efficent for a axe melee character

also you can add some base vita on the lower lv's to help tank (preferably the starting points when you begin a character)

I prefer going with dex charms since they are cheaper and just statting strength to make up for the rest (i personally love strength though)

if you're going to use ee armors, it's best to used leathers/scales since you can tank better with it (both magic and physical as opposed to primarily physical)

finally, if you're going to solo, it's best to have a decent amount of dex to prevent the monster from critical attacking you. (i normally go with around 100 with all gear on)

feel free to pm me if you have further questions
