so i've been glyphing everything i pick up.. i make a character get to lvl 5 then restart and keep repeating.. is this worth it? could i make some fg from doing this or is there a better way? or is glyphing not really profitable?

It is, but it will require time. Exp glyphs especially are sellable, about 4%+, but that will require a decent amount of time.

glyphing is very profitable, but only when your proficiency is high enough. it'll take a long time to get a decent glyph prof, but if you do, you should be able to make some fg

when you get 1 point into proficiency how much % does it go up? whats the max number you can have? and how can you lvl glyphying?

Have you read over the Glyphing guide
That will basically tell you how to level glyphing.

And I don't really understand your first question

I think he means what exactly happens when he gets that first point of proficiency.
ie: every point of prof for clubs = 1% ee

I personally don't know since I've yet to work up the will to do start my glyphing.
However, I would assume it is similar.

If this is what he means, once you get a proficiency into glyphing, you can glyph hire magical statted tier I items. (instead of Magical/Rare, you can do mystical - mythical)
