Dex is generally cheaper, then you can just pump all str.
If you can afford higher end str charms/ armor, I would go for the str items.

I'd put about 60 into dexterity, and go for a full strength build after that.
Get an EE scale or chain, and go for axes.
Get a strength charm, and you should be set.

for beginners its the best

start off with ee amor and dex charm

try to get ~100dex with your dex charm and get the rest into strength

i suggest ee amors since you can solo easier with them and some people kick people with low dmg and low defense in higher levels from their cats, so if you can tank some dmg you have a better chance to catch up a catagame
