I've been wondering how do people do so much critical damage? so I'm level 45 and with a 140 max damage weapon and I hit about 400 critical. Yet I see people at the same level hit over 1000 damage. How is this possible?

They have super good gear. That's really all it comes down to

better gear = better dmg/heal/tankage (excluding profincey)

It also depends on the weapon.

While every single weapon CAN do criticals (giving concession to NevV ) swords do them the highest out of all the regular weapons (longswords for heavy weapons)
If you have 100 dexterity and are using a level 55 100 EE axe, you'll do much less in criticals when using a 100 EE Sword when you have 100 dexterity.

yes but its not always about your crit and how much it does as hes talking about trade offs its mostly about avg dmg yes swords crit the highest you can have an extremely low ee sword and crit higher than an axe with higher ee but the axe will avg higher dmg. it just depends on the type of weapon and your dexterity someone with 105 dex with crit higher and more often than someone with 100 dex.

charms too full stash of 3/.20/20's will help
