im going 120dex and rest in str

but i'm not looking to get gz items @ 55 just average, so how many shall i stat in dex?

as equip at 55 will give more dex ofc

let's say get 80-90 without no equ?

I'd only do 110 into dexterity, but that's just me.

I'd get ~70-75. You wouldn't have to spend much to get a nice 35-40 dex charm level 55.
Of course, if you're going for 120 dex, 80-85.

Concentrate on your MQ gear... this will tell you what you need.

Example:
Weapon: 120+ ee
Armor: 85ee / 25 dexterity
Charm: 30 dexterity

25 Base Stat (dex)
55 item Stat (dex)
80 Total Dex

You need 40 points invested... so... first 10 points @ start (level 1)
This means you stop putting stat points into Dexterity @ level 31 ( 1 point per level = 30)

Total: 120dex

Rest strength @ level 32

This ofc is if he wants to spend a fair amount of fg on gear. If he wants a cheap melee set just so he can climb until he decides what he is going to do then maybe something a little lower is good enough.

I found a 33 dex 55 charm for 3 fg when i started melee, i used that for a few climbs until i started to get into it a little more. But to answer your question i would go about 110 dex. Buy your mq gear then stat your character accordingly so you hit that 110 dex mark then go rest into strength.

I'd suggest 110 dex also.

Okay lol, lets say your MQ gear has a total of 40 dex on it... make sure you have 70 dex when you hit 55?

70 + 40 = 110

I personally like to use dex armor and str charm. Just take 110 and subtract the amount of dex your MQ gear has, and have that amount when you hit 55.
