It's called life steal, and you can get whatever the max % is you can have on each item.
I wouldn't suggest this.
Instead, I would look for EE scale or leather armor, and that will help you not lose as much life.
Life Steal only really works if you're extremely wealthy and in turn can buy stacked gear so steal more life.
Follow my path, and maybe get some Life Regeneration gear and you should be set.
