what do people do with tier 1 essences?

reroll stuff, suffuscence, the same stuff you do with any tier essence.

i use them for suffusence skill and trying to gain more life/mana for fishes

Suffusencing is the magical art of suffusing a magical essence with another item. This is a new artform that has recently been discovered. When done successfully, it adds +enhanced effect to the target item.
The following items can be suffusenced: Fish, Comfreys, Glyphs
* The item must not already have any EE on it.
* The item must be the same tier as the essence.

yes and theres no point in using them to transmute cuz tier 1 are useless..?

The only point in doing so would be to increase your proficiency rank

You can shrine tier 1 essences too, just don't shrine a stack because I think that won't help you any more than an individual one.
