What is the fastest way to get up ur proficiency?

Next time ask me... I may give a bit more info on this... anyway:

Fastest is in Arena... that is no Lie...
... another is welling items at the Tier drop to your level... why... because they are harder and you attack / cast / heal on more occasions
... alot of people forget about this... this is a great contributor when you are only starting on profs and low level killing and gaining profs.

Solo'ing can be tedious for some... so pick the right time to Arena and then go to Cata... based on your gear availability at the time.
You may want some objectives... like Maze... so @ level 5 you will join or create a maze group... once completed... then you can return to cata'ing.

Do not die... that is simple... even in SC

One other thing... I noticed you asking for assistance in GC about gear... you can simply re-roll your character and start over again... this can contribute to you gaining more proficiencies faster than just grinding... example to follow:

If it takes you 1 hour to level up at your current level... then re-roll... why??? because you can go over those proficiencies again faster ... kill... get other drops... well some items...

It all helps...

Note: if you get Rank5 in a weapon and re-roll/MQ... use another weapon / charm from level 1-5 and then switch back to your main weapon of choice... this is utilising your time in gaining proficiencies elsewhere.

Also... spending time on fishing/muting/cooking etc... is wasting time on weapon/casting/healing... that is if you choose attack/heal skills... if you are talking about other skills... then it is in reverse...
