depends on your other gear / stats & whether you're playing arena or catacombs.

I concur with you there Greapper.

Just going to elaborate on some other things...

by the time you are lvl55:
Dex = 100 MINIMUM / 120 max
Str = rest after dex
Int = Depends if you are hybrid...
Vit = base

Pure melee:
First amount of points in Dexterity (if you need to reach the mark @ level 55) remaining in str
Note: if you have Dex items @ 55... then work out the difference and add strength from that particular level beforehand...

Hybrid:
First points into Int... you want to reach no less than 50 hard... around 2.5k mana @ 55... add more Int if you want more mana... say upto 75
then dex to 100 minimum... rest strength.

If you can not achieve this... then you are better off going with EE armor...
