So I was looking at some guides an came across a rogue caster guide
it looks like it could be a really awesome char

I have a question has any1 made a caster rogue lately if so how was it climbing wise (speed etc) ?

The guides I was reading are from 2008 so a little outdated
were there any changes in recent updates that would of "nerfed" the caster rogue in anyway
pretty much I'm wondering is it still worth it to make a caster rogue?

Inwould have about 5k to spend on one if that helps you in anyway

a caster rogue is quite a bit weaker compared to a mage due to their much lower mana pool. 5k will get you a decent mage np.

If you wanted to consider having a caster that would last longer than a mage does, just go with a heavy caster (fighter-sammy-pally) Use INT swords, and INT plates.

Caster rogues are considered to be the "budget" route if you want to cast but can't afford to buy mage gear (that is, if you don't want to do heavy casting). If you've got 5k to spend then you'd definitely have enough for a decent mage caster setup, and I would definitely recommend that route over the caster rogue approach.
