I would like to know more info about swords for barbs so i can start my sword set

what i really need to know is what ammount of ee should i look for on each of these swords:

lvl15
lvl20
lvl25
lvl30
lvl35
lvl40
lvl45
lvl50
lvl55

If you can give me a estimate of how much ee i need on each lvl sword that would be great, i know it wont be 100% accurate but thats ok. Any input will be greatly appriciated.

Level 0: 30ee
Level 5: 35ee
Level 10: 40ee
Level 15: 45ee
and so on

is a decent amount for a basic set. It obviously doesn't need to be exact, just basically try to get one with equal or higher ee for the next tier. And you don't always need to upgrade every 5 levels as well. It works just as well to change weapons every 10 levels and just get ones with higher ee than you would have if you switched every 5. And if you're doing melee then you'll probably be going in catacombs a lot and if you get in good groups it could be a hassle to switch your weapon every 5 levels. It's totally your choice though


Another method would be to just aim for 100 - 120ee on your level 55 weapon and work down from there. It's all about how much you can spend on it though

I suggest you to make a healer.

very cheap char and very usefull in catacombs.

o i know bro, i have a broad knowledge of ls just dont know much about char builds and items lol. ive played a healer before not all that fun.

anyhow, any info related to me being a nub or a barb build please feel free to share. I need to learn

EDIT: For my mq gear should it be something like this: sword - 100+ee armor - 55+ str/high def charm - high str/ee

should i use a high str armor or high ee armor? lastly should i get a charm with high str and life related stats or should it be high strength and some ee?

as a barb id

put first 10-15 points in vit rest of the points in str

buy a 5X+ dex charm
100+ EE armor
best sword you can

that way you could tank pretty well and do a fair amount of dmg (not godly but its a start)

Why would you do that? A barb already has enough vita to start with.

Besides that I'd recommend a fighter, can use more weapons iirc and has better str/dex placement.

yea fg is not an issue with me, i just really wanna know what i should do for my mq gear. Keep in mind i put my stats in dex so my gear should be str

Here is what i think my mq gear should be, please correct any wrong info


SWORD: 100+ ee Sword with life mods(if i can find em)
ARMOR: 45+ str armor with high def( this is what gets me, should it be a 45+ str armor like i said or should i go for a high ee armor?)
CHARM: Highest str i can get on a charm possible with some life mods


any info would be great, if you have a good setup for barb please list your gear. like what lvls do charms matter? ive seen people lvl 40+ using a lvl 15 charm. should i just find a charm with the highest strength ammount and use that the whole time?
