Where should i put the majority of my stat points in? i dont really want to be hybrid

Basically, the goal is to have your stat points balanced between strength and dexterity, with your strength about 20 points higher than your dexterity. Keep in mind that those numbers is including any stat points you might get from gear.

So, for example, some people put most or all of their stat points into strength and then buy dexterity gear; and some people put most or all of their stat points into dexterity and buy strength gear. It doesn't make a huge difference which you do.

dex is cheapest.
