So I've always used mage for weller, but I've always wanted to try a guardian weller. I've got a 160ee lvl 55 club i plan on using, and a 169ee 34hm lvl 50 chain that i think will benefit me greatly. Curious as to what charm i should use for acc. slot. Not sure if I would benefit better from a dex charm, to protect from phys. crits, or an HM charm for better heals. Stats = 100% int, or should i drop first 10 into vita?
Open for all suggestions, not sure if there's a better choice for armor or what. Looking to get responses from experienced players

Also, would there be a different class better for welling? due to the patch with magical defense n such, since guards can only use heavys..?

imo get a str charm (dex could be good too)
160EE or not, with base guardian str/dex you're not going to be hitting for a lot

Guardian Weller is one of the hardest builds

its just the same as building a hybird but instead of starting with low int, you got the high int and the low str/dex

only promblem people run into is the limit of gear

i use on hc

147 ee 50 club w/ 20 int

133 ee 55 plate

43 hm 6 magic luck charm

107 ee 50 reg heal

i do very well with this gear, just grind a lil more is all but i complete 90% of my wells i would say, maybe more w/ the new magic def idk


10-20 in vita, then pump int, depending on gear you could throw some in dex, really depends on what your using, i use this same build on paladin aswell but i got pure int on pally

Dex is definately an issue that needs to be addressed. With 10 dex you're a sitting duck for crits.

Personally, I cut the healing ability to try and balance things out more. What you can do really depends on your gear in this case. At the end of the day you still have to do some damage after all.

nice, but with my setup, i can combine the ee/hm with my armor, so im trying to get the maximum benefit from the main charm slot. do you have issues healing? taking dmg? doing dmg? whichever you have the most trouble with ofc

imo it takes ages to well with a gu even if its very safe when using proper gear.

ur base int is enough. try to get 100-120 dex in cmbo with some hm and as much str as u can get. due to v 1.18 u will have enough mana.

biggest problem on gu is the lack of dmg which costs u mass time. u should consider fighter hybrid or rogue hybrid. both have not such limeted gear and rogue benefits of both defense parts of his armors with vita and int.

yeah, i was greatly considering doing a fighter weller and finding some type of scale/leather to use cause of the patch.. but then i still need info on that lol
