what should i be aiming for in my gear? any thoughts?

solo or cata?


if solo you need a mage to use as your feeder

if you want to cata go with ee plates ee weapons and str or dex charms.

WHAT?
you can use any of the feeder classes to get to mq
some work better than others
but theres no reason you couldn't use a melee class instead of a mage

please don't give any more bad advice

cata, and i got some starter max life ee plate/weaps charms atm

100pts in vita// plate mail with high ee // not sure about charm if should use max life & vitality since vita gives you more def or maybe with dex to reduce crits
this is for cata tanker you wont need damage at all , just to survive as much as you can

for weapon you could get one with huge life//dex//vita

I disagree with what was posted here
I'd go all to int
EE plate
EE wep
dex charm

otherwise you're not that useful to your group since a plain tanker not doing any damage isn't helping enough to be worth his spot in catas
and a tanker who can't tank caster attacks isn't really a tanker at all

dex charm is because then at least you're getting a melee and defensive boost at the same time

i'd listen to what this guy has to say, hes usually right
