in other words if i fail 10 times how many extra stats for each class and how its broken down.

you get stats, based on (total attempts)/(# of unlocked classes)

aka
you pass to monk, with 3 passes and 17 fails

18 total attempts
20/4 = 5 extra stat points.

can you reexplain that 3 passes and 17 fails is not 18 total attempts its 20 not sure if that was just a typo?

Basically:

Feeder X/1 + 10 = total start points
Sammy X/2 + 10 = total start points
Pally X/3 + 10 = total start points
Monk X/4 + 10 = total start points
Ninja X/5 + 10 = total start points
WL X/6 + 10 = total start points
HH X/7 + 10 = total start points
