I have a level 22 barb at the moment. it has got to the point where i am having trouble killing anything really, and i have stopped tanking altogether.

what kinda gear should a barb go for?
is it possible to make a barb that can solo cats?

invest in a lvl 20 sword.
and a level 20 armor.
(with enhanced effect ofc)

pump str stats
use dex charms

solo catacombs isnt wut u want to do.

hmm im not really into making pvm chars
but id say u would probably want life leech items (such as rings)
as for the weapons thers a bunch of combinations u could do
beast+grief for example
but u cant use these at lvl 22 haha

Here are some things I did when I started.
1. Pure Dex Build (UNLESS you have dex stat items)
2. Buy cheapest EE weapon/armor...
3. Buy cheapest Main charm with either Dexterity or Strength

Each item you buy in levels of 5 or 10... depending on funds etc.

When it is getting too tough, and you do not have the funds nor find anything worth selling on MP... RE-ROLL your character and start again.
You may think this is silly... well it isn't... you will be able to gain proficiencies by doing this... also... even if you play SC... do not die...

I did not attempt my first MQ until I had sufficient gear and was Rank10 in Sword... I only started with 15fg... found/bought/sold enough
to carry me through...
