i thought that the fee was deducted from the price

but i put a club up for sale and it took the fee from my gold right then

if it doesnt sale do i get my gold back

The button you clicked clearly stated that it was a PRE-PAY fee.

If the item you are selling is <20fg, the fee comes out when the item sells, if the item you are selling is 20 or higher, the fee comes out when you put it up.
