Depends if you like to crank out/ need the str, or if you would rather tank a bit more in catas.
I prefer stat armors over ee for that extra bit of damage, but it really depends on what you would rather have.

I find EE armors to be more versatile, you can tank in Catas, as well as extending your MCC in Arena (it takes a small amount longer to kill the monsters though)
