1. What should my stats allocation be like?

2. how does leveling works for hybrid? (for eg. which level to melee until etc)

3. For solo, does a hybrid use heal or just attack charms?

i know there's a guide out there, but its not self-explanatory enough i guess (im kinda stupid)

:/

thanks in advance

Im playing my samurai and paladin hybrid as well and may share my experience with you:

I think the stat distribution depends on your gear to an extent
and what you want to focus on since you mentioned offensive attack charms. ( e.g. pure healer, hybrid, solo caster... )

Personally, im playing my characters in catacombs especially in the low levels.
Im going all int here to boost the mana and get the other stats from the gear.
This way, you may also go solo offensive casting especially in the high levels.

I have seen other builts focusing more on the melee side adding only a couple points to int.
Guess this depends on personal experience and goals according to the setup.

In the early levels, im going with a melee setup and as i get higher with a mixed melee/healer setup containing stats for both.
The mana is quite low here still and it wouldnt be very effective with average gear to go pure casting already,
but the additional heals on top of the melee attacking are a great help for a party to maintain or for long chains in arena.

In the mid to late mid levels around 30+ one could slowly switch over to pure healing or casting.
But i find it really starts to get effective past 55 with the mq setup and a bigger mana pool.

If you go solo with melee gear, you should put a heal charm in acc slot. It will help a LOT to regen faster and increase your chains.
I have seen many hybrid characters doing full chains in the higher levels even with a good setup.

But if going full int, you have of course also the option to go offensive casting with a high int setup.
Make sure you got mana regen gear for a more effective climbing, you will need to regen a lot.
Since there is less mana to regen it will take less time though.

Relating hybrid builts and stat distribution, there is no key recipe how many stats to put where generally ( apart from the all int way )
because it depends a lot on your setup and financial means to find the most effective distribution for your individual case.

Hope it helps! :)

The OP needs to specify whether they are going Hybrid Melee (uses a Heal Charm, melees the whole way, has ~70 INT), Hybrid Caster [Heavy Caster] (melees until level ~35, then switches to attack charms, all INT)

I've done both, and I like both. Hybrid Melee is a little more versatile though.

Heavy Caster is nice in that pretty much your only limitation is your mana pool. You pretty much won't need to use your heal charm until level 50's or so. One thing I did not like about Heavy Caster though is the short regen times, this means you can't browse the net while you are regenning.

Hybrid Melee can get you to ~35 solo in arena really quick and easy. With long MCC the whole time (this translates to better drops). You have the ability to heal in catas as well. There have been many times where I was the only healer in the group, and as because of that our cata runs get extended twice as long as it would have without any sort of healer. I made sure I got some decent EE plates as well, since IMO Hybrid Melees make quite good tanks. Stats do depend on your gear, for me I go to level ~40ish on INT, rest of the way I stat DEX. Other people like to stat all INT. It really is a personal preference though.

Good Luck!

1. I think you should allocate your stats to int until you get around 60-70

2. It's slower killing than casting but you get very high chains if you stat correctly and your gear is good enough :)

3. A hybrid usually has a stat'd charm in the main slot and a good heal charm in the accessory.

Take a look at my paladin hybrid here, with this build i get 10-15 chains at lvl 60, and up to 20 chains at lower lvls (40ish)

Do the same build with a samu and you'll get less mana but it'll still work well :)

I Stat int Till level 40 or 50 Doesn't matter to much then stat it is depenedant on your gear that you will be using ... For example with sammy you start with 50 dex i use a 50 dex 25 int 19 mana regen charm i find 100 dex to be Perfectly suitable so i just pump the rest of my points into str so at mq i end up with around 125 My intel is around 115 and Dex 100.. Between the dex and intel it makes my char a nice tank even though i do not use a EE plate but rather a stat chain..... Make sure to use a good Heal charm with a decent weapon and you will find how powerfull a Hybrid truely is i usually full chain till around 62 or so Then its never more than 1 regen per level but you get enough shrines that dont actually have to regen at all... If you have any questions just let me know my last 40 mqs have been hybrid climbs other than 3 mage climbs XD

1 - stats depends on your stat items, if you got enough stats / ee it might be worth it to go full int. If not then you can stat int until lv 30 - 40 depending if you want a larger mana pool

2 - works fairly well compared to full melee if the gear is not that great. able to heal and do dmg. Also gain reduce vs casting monsters

3 - some people go melee from the lower levels and then switch to casting

another option (depending on gear) is to attack with a melee weapon and just use a charm to heal and keep up the chains
