Im playing my samurai and paladin hybrid as well and may share my experience with you:
I think the stat distribution depends on your gear to an extent
and what you want to focus on since you mentioned offensive attack charms. ( e.g. pure healer, hybrid, solo caster... )
Personally, im playing my characters in catacombs especially in the low levels.
Im going all int here to boost the mana and get the other stats from the gear.
This way, you may also go solo offensive casting especially in the high levels.
I have seen other builts focusing more on the melee side adding only a couple points to int.
Guess this depends on personal experience and goals according to the setup.
In the early levels, im going with a melee setup and as i get higher with a mixed melee/healer setup containing stats for both.
The mana is quite low here still and it wouldnt be very effective with average gear to go pure casting already,
but the additional heals on top of the melee attacking are a great help for a party to maintain or for long chains in arena.
In the mid to late mid levels around 30+ one could slowly switch over to pure healing or casting.
But i find it really starts to get effective past 55 with the mq setup and a bigger mana pool.
If you go solo with melee gear, you should put a heal charm in acc slot. It will help a LOT to regen faster and increase your chains.
I have seen many hybrid characters doing full chains in the higher levels even with a good setup.
But if going full int, you have of course also the option to go offensive casting with a high int setup.
Make sure you got mana regen gear for a more effective climbing, you will need to regen a lot.
Since there is less mana to regen it will take less time though.
Relating hybrid builts and stat distribution, there is no key recipe how many stats to put where generally ( apart from the all int way )
because it depends a lot on your setup and financial means to find the most effective distribution for your individual case.
Hope it helps!
