so 110 dex but my question is do i put any points in str at first or every thing into dex from lvl1 till i hit the 110 that i need?

depends on what kinda gear you have at lower levels.. if you have str gear at low lvls stat dex and if you have dex gear stat str

I do not invest any points into Dexterity at all:
Strength all the way for just damage (in cata you are in the back)

If I was to invest Dex... I would only invest 15 = 80 total... then rest strength

str is more effective than dex for damage purposes. when you're sitting in the back you don't need the defence from dex, so if you want to be pure melee i'd just go pure str. for the same reason, you won't need vit or int.

when I hit monk i'm going to try 170str/80dex vs 150str/100dex to test the difference but i think the high str build should have a higher average.

i may try a hybrid build too sine i have some sexy heals, but that's not necessary ofc.
