swords = cheaper

swords = higher crit dmg

daggers = better average dmg


now you choose what u want
cheap and high crit dmg or expensive average dmg

well i know that swords = higher dmg with crit, and daggers = better avg dmg.
but like daggers still do really good dmg? even tho most high ee daggers = like 350 top dmg on actual wep, that end up being really good ?
cause i seen some really nice swords with nice ee do around 2k crits but havnt seen daggers do really high crits. so wonder on avg what would crit hit for lets say a 150-350 dmg / 150 ee dagger be?

Same EE items have the same average damage. Daggers are the better option though, in my opinion.
With swords you won't even know you hit a crit half the time, because the crit can fall within your normal range of damage. Axes/daggers, you always know when you crit strike.

Critical strikes generally go up to about 3x the max damage on the item. If you're impressed because a bigger number comes up once in a while go with swords, otherwise pick on the basis of which will be more use to you. Swords can be used by the first 3 classes, but you need 2x other weapon sets to play all melee classes. Axes/daggers can be used to play every melee class in the game. (this is the only way you can make it through the game without buying 3 or more melee weapon sets)

daggers better imo

Sword 3x Feeder uses
Sammy Sword/Dagger
Pally Sword
Monk Dagger
Ninja Sword/Dagger

I went Sword... more use... when I got on Sammy... I used dagger up until I could use sword based on my Profs
I went Staff mostly and 2 daggers in-between
On Ninja: I will be going dagger then sword @ level 21 because of profs

Just me... more users for sword... dagger in between and also staffs
