I'd go for pure melee, hybrid, without godly items isn't that helpful.. caster rogue is pain in the ass
Put all of the stats into the str, buy 1 item with dex, 1 with str. Dex items are cheaper, but rogue have only 30 base str.. 1 item to increase the ammount of str would be helpful
Weapons with EE, in case you don't know.

swords are like lightning in terms of inconsitency, and are much more expensive
between these two in case you MQ to samurai
