Orly.. why does the elemental damage do extra damage 2 the well dudes?

it doesn't do any more damage than a melee does. It's the ability to heal themselves far more effectively that sets the mage apart from other classes for the Well.

If you have enough FG to make a nice Hybrid Melee char, that would work as well, since they have the ability to heal too. Hybrid Melees are FAR more costly than a Mage though.

I'm going to do first 10 vita this build instead..because I find myself welling some items where I got critted my ENTIRE life bar in one hit when I went full INT

1500+ Crit.

However my gear is fine for welling imo..

I would prefer a 130+ Heal though if you can get it..focused.

130+ EE attack / Heal works better ..even higher really on the heal if you're like me and going to stat some in vita..having a bit more ee than even that is helpful since we'll loose out on some mana people who can afford to stat all INT won't.

Mage works best. Even with my not so good gear (112ee fire + ~80ee heal) i get like 8 of 10 well monsters.
btw i did 5 vit at the beginning
