curios about it can anyone point me in right direction to help me understand it better? tyvm

maybe this information will help:

The Well of Evil provides a chance to convert plain white items into magical items. Throwing the item into the well will awaken a powerful beast from within. These monsters are much more difficult than other monsters in the game, but when you defeat it, you will receive your item back with at least one magical stat on it.

never tried to well an item because i wont risk to die on HC

you toss a non-magical item in the well of evil and it spawns a monster, defeat that monster and you get the items you dropped into the well with magical stats on it now + chance for side drops

Don't need a link really.

also the mob that spawns uses the item you dropped in the well against you.

it spawns 1 level higher than you (to my knowledge at least up till 71)

the mob is kind of like a super mob..don't go in expecting something as weak as the monsters you fight in arena normally lol

Sorry to be bringing this old post up but I have a question about the items that go into the well.

Do you guys have a preference to which item you drop? I made a mistake and I did not collect any regular items on my way to lvl 64, now I'm stuck with no items, should I just go into catacombs and fight lvl 1 monsters and pick up regular weapons/armor? Maybe fight a higher lvl monster to get high lvl items? Some tips would be appreciated.
