what rod should i get early? i have one prof? and when do i switch rods? also when do i start getting better fish? i looked at the guide but that was really confusing

could anyone make this simple for me?

you should use a splintered rod until about pro 3-5 then switch to oak rod :D

I think you start catching better fish at 6 or so
