Okay... who can answer this:

This is based on placing some stat points into Vitality for ANY build:
What other effect do you get from doing this?
Has this been tested thoroughly?

Anyway... when your character is level 55, what changes (besides life) are effected?

Let us make it a BARB:
Zero (0) points into Vitality ... @55, wearing a 55 Plate (White)... what is the defense
Five (5) points into Vitality ... @55, wearing a 55 Plate (White)... what is the defense
Ten (10) points into Vitality ... @55, wearing a 55 Plate (White)... what is the defense

Is there any difference? <-- this is the main question
Or does it make no real difference?

I always thought that VIT for defense just adds a set amount, like STR adds a set amount of damage done. The benefit you'd get from the early points in VIT is a bigger Health pool.

I am thinking the same...
Early Vita = More life pool (better for barbs as they get 2 points life per vita)
I am under the impression that 1 point Vita = 1% (or close to) EE towards the armors Defense...

Just see'ing if there is an improvement towards the "defense" by adding points early.

Early Vit= More life per level

1 Vit is almost equal to 1 EE to your armors def (vit on items effect Defense as well)

Defense = base* (.95 + vita/100)(1 + EE/100)
