Is there a way to give someone an item?
like if i didnt want to sell it

Yes, you can use the guild vault transfer option by being in a guild.

http://ladderslasher.d2jsp.org/index.php?g=16

You enter their Profile ID number to transfer the item through the vault.

but that is only if they are in your guild

otherwise its the only way unless you place it on mp

True, but that method is very unsafe and should be used at your own risk.

yes but he did say it was between guilds..i was only stating the only other option if he wasnt in the same guild as his friend
