Take fighter and buy swords always, You will have weapons later for samurai and paladin ...

-that more than enought to make a good fighter (:
buy some sword set with that high EE as possible.
like level : 25-35-35
each will cost around 150fg
and then buy a str charm with 25 str or more if you got fg's for it
