Hello!
Sorry for the noobish question, but I need confirmation. So, does it affects my barbarian's life or anything if I didn't invest points into vit at lvl 0, but I want to invest now, at lvl 12?

It will still affect your life, but its more beneficial to invest into vit at lvl 0. If your only 12 you can always reroll
