I've read several guides for a Melee Sammy, and I'm really confused about what Armor to wear. Except for the Heal Charm, this is what I plan on using to MQ with:

what are you current stats at 55? Do you catacomb or solo?

dont use the robe.

if you do catas and need a tank, use the EE armor.

if not, i would use the str or dex armor, whichever you need to get your dex ~120 with gear at 55.

I do both. If I added everything to Str, at Level 55, I would have 111 Str with 110+ Dex (assuming I use one of the Level 55 Dex Armors).


My original idea was to use the 45 Dex Plate Mail with the Light Dex Charm. Assuming that there's at least 1 tank in a Cata run, will that idea of mine work?

yes that would be fine. If there is a tank in cata's use your dex plate. If there is no tank use your EE plate. Just depends on the group you get in. If you decide to solo I'd say the dex plate so you can kill faster.
