does anyone actually fish that much..and what does it do for you and has any1 got anything good from it.. or is it just a time passer and useless

it can be very useful especially at low levels when your healer is about to level and he needs a little more mana or some1 needs some life to keep them alive.



you can when the run is stopped and there is no monsters attacking, you just cant use them when your attacking

i didnt think you could give fish or comfrey during a run

I thought we couldn't as well, so that's what fishes are for! I thought that it was better to just use shrines!
Never knew that I could gain life or mana during catacombs by myself

but it takes so long to lvl in fishing to get anything over 50 mana or life..

ive fished for about 2 days and i have rank 2 in fishing. It doesnt take that long if you fish a little at a time everyday. when you catch the fish you go cook them. The more you cook the more life or mana you can get. You can get up to 100 life or mana right from the start. That extra 100 life or mana here and there in low level games is really helpful

Don't expect to see an immediate return with anything in this game.

The whole game is one huge time investment - and it pays off better if you invest more.

don't forget about stacking too. with rank 3 in fishing and rank 2 in cooking, I can stack 5 of those 100 life or mana fish on top of each other. also, you can find items while fishing, and I'm guessing that the levels of the fish you face correspond to drops just like monsters do. I found a 36ee copper sword the other day from fishing...
