Well I have 2 armors, and I don't know which would be best to use. I'm currently level 16 and prefer doing solos as my proficiency seems to be increasing faster.
This:
Rare steel chain mail
Level Req: 10
Defense: 23 to 57

+51% Enhanced Effect
+6 Dexterity

or this:
Rare double cured leather armor
Level Req: 15
Defense: 9 to 27

+25 Strength
+2% Physical Damage Reduction

For solo I'd definitely use the second one. It has significantly lower defense but with the 25 added strength you'll kill a lot faster

use the first one at lvl 10 until lvl 15, then switch. even in catacombs, unless you are the only tank, the added STR will help you kill faster = faster exp = win.
