Yeah don't care for going pure melee and everyone I know says it's much more effective to go hybrid. Can someone help me out with stats/gearwise what to do?

For hybrid monk I suggest going 70 int. once you have this done you either pump the rest of the stats into strength or dex depending on the rest of your gear. For your gear you will be looking for stats(strength/dex) combined with Heal mastery/max mana/ MPA/MPK.
