On the marketplace, daggers that have decent EE are up for so much more $$ than staffs that have decent EE; I see that daggers have a little bit higher minimum damage, but the maximums are generally equal and sometimes higher on the staffs. I figured that this price difference was hinting at something about the game that I don't know yet.

Any insights/tips/information?

daggers can be used on more classes than staffs

the average damage is the same
but melee staffs can only be used really for monk and rogue (feeder)
whereas daggers are for feeders, samurais, monks, ninjas
