I've tested this myself and seen contradicting information in almost every guide. When you level up, you only get mana added to your max from the base intelligence you have, not any intelligence bonuses you have in equipment.

Is this correct? Every guide I read is telling me that if I use intelligence on my equipment, it will give me more to my max mana at level up.

based on base inteligence, 2 mana/point in inteligence

test it if you are curious, put on a piece of + int gear right before you level next time

wrong...you get 1 point mana/point of intel at level up

you also receive 2 points when you add an intel point in...but at levelup its only 1 per (if you have 200 mana and 50 int, you will have 250 at level up, 252 if you then also add your 1 point into INT)

Deppends also if ur a sorc i think sorc gets more mana, then for example a barb, u can read this stuff at blizzard i think
