well ty for schooling me in rougeology but it would prob be melee

then you've got 3 routes
all str
all str but with 100-120 dex
all int and hybrid

personally I'd do kinda halfway between 1 and 2, as in place all your points in strength, but use gear with dexterity on it since you can get more bang for your buck
but seeing as how you have 2.6K you should probably just think about maybe climbing a fighter or barbarian instead :/ they are much better at melee
as for hybrid that costs too much and is too hard to stat for a beginner
