are you going to be soloing or casting with this guard?

Guardians are catacomb only characters really.

if you have more int than hm, get more hm. If you have more hm than int, get more int.

If you put all your stats into int, then you should just look for hm on the club, hm/ee on the armor, get a charm with hm/int (mana is also handy on this one) for you primary slot, then use your heal with as much ee as you can get in the acc slot.
