Hey im a lvl 37 Fighter and I'm finding it quite impossible to kill monsters. I get through like 2-3 before i have to regen.

Is there a certain way to make more fg to get better gear? I was picking up mutable items but with the new patch it seems as if no one wants them anymore. Is there another way of making some fg?

If you keep climbing you're bound to find something good after a while

And 2 - 3 monsters per regen isn't terrible - I did my first climb doing 1 monster per regen.
The only advice I can give you is to spend a little more and get a plate mail with strength or dexterity to increase your killing speed or just find one closer to your level with higher EE.

thanks, but are there certain things people are buying atm though? things i can easily collect and perhaps sell for 1fg

yes, just start a new character and then pick up all the magic+ items and sell them for 1fg each. with transmuting becoming a proficiency, all the random tier 1/2 magical+ sell for 1fg, and they sell pretty quickly too.

either that, or do catacombs, and just pick up magical's that everyone else doesnt need/want. go through enemies much quicker in cata
