Well transmuting just got totally redone today so you could probably make a decent amount of FG from making a fighter or guardian or barbarian and getting a weapon with 30+ee, a plate mail with 40+ee, and a charm with either strength or max life. Then you can do solo catacombs from 1 - 5 and sell every magical+ tier 1 item for 1 fg. There are a lot of people who want to try out the new transmuting but don't want to search for items (even though it's really easy) so I think it would be possible to make a decent amount of fg off it
do it on HC too, probably better odds of selling everything
