well , right now it really depends if you play cata or solo

Str armors are better in solo because you get more dmg and so you kill faster ^^

EE armors are better in cata because you're not alone and the monsters are weaker, so a better def ( tanker build ) works great ^^

str (on plate preferably), because you'll kill mobs faster and in consequence they'll hit you less.

e: but as lio said, ee will work fine in catas if you play with good melee monks/ninjas^^

depends on armor type.

your str scale is like buying a robe with ee..


I say buy a ee plate, if you cata or

str plate for the solo monsters.

for scale or somthin get strength

for a plate get EE I say

by experience i would say it doesnt only depend on cata or not.

imo if you go for ee platemail it takes obviously longer to kill mobs but still you would get a slightly better mcc i think.

but with str u would kill faster and in the end lvl faster.

so probably you gotta decide..

Faster lvling - lower mcc Vs slower lvling - higher mcc

any1 else feels the same way and can confirm it?=)

The way I look at it is as follows, good group with a good tank up front, slap on the str armor and go middle, as a fighter you are expected to dish damage, it seems very wasteful to me to have a very well geard pal and still 2 fighters that situp front, take more damage and do less damage than the pal or bar for instance. If its just a random pick up cat, then slap on the EE cause your likely gonna be taking damage anyway or you wont have a healer.
