does the hardcore ladder get reset when softcore does?

or are they completely seperate

sorry if this is a stupid question, i have only played softcore and i was thinking about starting hardcore but i didnt wanna go through the motions if its gonna end soon

no they are both differint

if the SC ladder resets then only SC resets

if HC resets then only HC resets :)
