What's the verdict, should I kill hte bugger off to keep his exp down? Do I need to do it before I hit 65?

Sure. It doesn't matter, though, the reason 64 is the level to well, is cause well monsters are 1 above your level, so you're fighting level 65 monsters, which can drop level 55 gear. Level 66+80 monsters can drop level 55 gear too, if you think you can handle 'em.

Do I have to do the killing before I level?

I just leveled up to 65 this morning, not much different thus far.

it all depends on who you talk too. Some people like keeping him at 64 others just like to go up to 71 and reclimb. Someone welled 200 items at 64 and once again at 75 I believe and the results were about the same in terms of drops

You dont have to stop at 71, it supposedly gets even easier to kill the monsters in the mid-late 70's

ive been to 76, and it might be easier since you have more mana,int but that means more mana to regen I would just rather MQ and climb up again. It all depends on who you talk to.

well. I am beginning to wish I had kept my Mage at level 64. Having a hell of a time now at level 65 with the Well monsters.

Guess I'll go to the MQ, and try out a Rogue caster if I don't pass
