Still trying to pass with a mage but even if i pass i dont wanna sell all my caster charms because i like them and casting

And Swords and daggers are to expensive imo anyway

so i wanna go the casting way..like 1-35 melee then casting.

Want your oppinions/experiences how good this works.

And would you guys go melee 1-45?

Compared to a decent mage@lvl65..how much mcc would a sammy get?

It's honestly not as bad as people say, ofc you have to melee for the first 35 or 40 or so levels and then start casting. But when you start casting because of the low mana your regening fast, and depending on your gear you can do anywhere from 3+ chains [which is not that bad]. And once you get to 55+ it becomes visible to see the difference because you see more chains and a little longer regen time. What I like mostly about it is that you lose mana before life, so it's hard to die. I start casting at level 40 with a 33 int sword and 34 int chain, and around 130ee earth. I get around 3-4 chains, and at 55 I can get up to 5. At 65 I get around 4 minimum and 7 max - with only a 160ee earth, 43 int plate, and 33 int sword. So I like it, it just seems like leveling takes forever but when you actually look at it, its around the same. Regening = fast, Mana lost over Life, 10 - 14 min levels. I say its not that bad

i have several experiences with low int casters, but gears are quite different (i have improved a lot).
compare them with yours, and you can figure out how good you could.

1. old caster samurai (1-40=melee, 40-71=cast)

weapon: 37 int sword (lvl40-55), 47 int sword (lvl55-71)
armor: 49 int mail (lvl40-71)
charm: 120ee ice XI (lvl40-50), 137ee ice XIII (lvl50-71)
heal: 92ee heal XII (lvl45-71)

result:
did 2-4 mcc
almost never successfull @ well because of short of mana.
but was extremely safe, life never went down lower than mana


2. current caster ninja (1-40=melee, 40-71=cast)

weapon: 43 int sword (lvl40-55), 47 int sword (lvl55-71)
armor: 40 int robe (lvl40-55), 56 int robe (lvl55-71)
charm: 193ee earth XI (lvl40-50), 190ee earth XIII (lvl50-71)
heal: 198ee heal XI (lvl40-55), 163ee wild heal XIV (lvl55-71)

result:
does 5-9 mcc
more than 80% of successful ratio @ well, but i would rather toss plains to my mage weller.
defense is as horrible as mage, i have to care my life frequently.
