I would recommand you to use plate mails for armors, because it's the best defense.
If you take all points in str, you should get dex charm/plate, because you need ~100-130.
For weapons you might prefer swords because samurai/paladin can use them also (so it's long time investment), but I personally don't like swords (too much 0). Else just get axes, but samurai can't use them.
The only stat you need on weapon is enhanced effect (EE) (also str since 1 str ~ 1ee).

lvl 5 ^^ buy a weapon when you can't go on anymore

check the mp for a weapon with EE ( enhanced damage ) ( lvl 5 40+EE )

it really depends on the item ^^
item with high EE , STR, dext , heal mastery, INT , ... )
muteables



this guide is a bit outdated ^^ it says to put all in dext with dext stuff
it was made before dext and life steal got nerfed

Basically all items you will find before you are lvl 10 are "shrine food". "shrine food" means you should drop them into shrine of mu'rakar in order to regen faster (it gaves you 20%+ life/mana back).
