for a barb should i be using any dex gear for soloing? if i have base dex is it still best to have high str charm/armor?

the stats are the same if you solo or cata

100-120 dext MAX
then all in str

only your gear is important if you want to solo

and if you're planning on using axes, you can go for a full str mode or with less dext

well i use clubs, but i need dex? or even int? i can solo ok with pure str right?

you can but at least a little dext ( 80+) is needed if you go with clubs

Dexterity: Increases your chance to critical hit, and damage dealt when you critical hit. It also reduces damage when enemies critical hit you. The effects are subject to a diminishing return formula.
